Michelle R. Kendrick is a woman of Great Faith and a humble servant for the Lord. She accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ into her life at an early age and later accepted her call to ministry in 1985. At the inception of her ministry, she began faithfully serving as the Single’s Ministry Leader and Adult Sunday School teacher at her local Church and later served as a leader of a Woman’s Ministry while overseas in Germany. She continues her service to the Lord when returning stateside and shortly thereafter received her Ministry License from New Life Christian Center in Laurel, Maryland. She has attended both Calvary Bible Institute and has begun working on her Master’s in Divinity at Howard University. She is a visionary author and has recently published her first book “entitled “Miracles So Great Deliverance for Your Fertility Journey.” In her book, she shares how the Lord delivered her from barrenness to fruitfulness. The book outlines her struggle with infertility and how the Lord performed a miraculous healing of her womb. She admonishes the reader to guard their heart while waiting for the manifestation of the promise and not allow any “root of bitterness” to enter in but to trust the timing of the Lord because his time is perfect. Her testimony ends with her holding not one but two babies in her arms. The Lord blessed her and enabled her to bring forth identical twin girls, Faith & Grace from what once was a barren womb.
Professionally, she is a licensed Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and has worked serving both active duty military, veterans and their families for over 30 years in a variety of capacities. She has worked as a Nurse Manager for both Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry, Nurse Educator, Researcher, Case manager and Therapist for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her interest in the Anger/Violence dynamic has extended to her working as a Victim Advocate as well as providing Domestic Violence Intervention Programs for both male and female offenders. Her service in the community has led to her being the recipient of a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for Outstanding Public Service from the Honorable Albert Russell Wynn. She completed her undergraduate training at Hampton University and her graduate training at George Mason University. She enjoys teaching and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Trinity University and both Montgomery and Howard Community Colleges.
She is a native Washingtonian and currently resides in Bowie, Maryland. She enjoys reading and attending formal teas at historic mansions in her leisure. She is the devoted mother of Faith and Grace Kendrick spending most of her time “training them up in the way that they should go.”
